At Peacehaven Heights Academy we understand the importance of good pastoral care and the impact that it can have on each pupil’s physical, social, emotional and mental health. We value the importance of establishing good relationships with all of our pupils. We work closely with practitioners from outside agencies such as; YMCA Dialogue Services, NHS Mental Health Support Teachers, the EAL Service as well as professionals from Children’s Services. In school staff have a shared commitment to supporting pupils in their education, personal development and wellbeing. We have an effective PSHE curriculum and we provide opportunities for pupils to develop their resilience and resourcefulness. Our pastoral care supports pupils in feeling safe, happy, involved and able to reach their true potential.
